State of Alaska House of Representatives; District 5 from 2015-present
Representing several small coastal communities, together with Cordova, Seward, and Kodiak Island, Representative Louise Stutes understands the importance of transportation infrastructure and the fishing industry for rural Alaskans. Rep. Stutes has resided in Kodiak since 1980, is a retired business owner and previously served on the Kodiak Assembly 2006-2013, regional fisheries advisory and working groups, and Southwest Alaska Municipal Conference, Board Member/President 2006- 2013.
Rep. Stutes is a member of the House Fisheries and Transportation Committees since 2015 and member of the Fish & Game, Transportation and Public Facilities, Finance Subcommittees. Outside official duties Rep. Stutes enjoys family, boating and fishing, together with service organizations and community involvement in Kodiak.
