Alaska Aerospace

Alaska Aerospace Corporation (AAC) is a state-owned company advancing Alaska’s space industry while building an economic hub around a spaceport.

Established in 1991, AAC operates the Pacific Spaceport Complex – Alaska (PSCA), a 3,700-acre, multi-user, FAA-licensed commercial spaceport on Kodiak Island. PSCA is one of four vertical and orbital launch facilities in the U.S.

PSCA offers all-weather processing for small rockets and satellites into sub-orbital, polar, and highly elliptical orbits over the North Pacific Ocean.

A scenic one-hour drive from Kodiak City along Chiniak and Pasagshak road leads to Narrow Cape, showcasing dramatic coastlines and breathtaking vistas.

Except during active launches, public access to Fossil Beach remains open for everyone to enjoy. For Pasagshak Road closures, call the hotline at 1-833-PSCA-321
