Serving as a member of the Alaska Bycatch Review Task Force and chair of the Crab Committee, Linda Kozak was very involved with all Task Force meetings and development of recommendations. She has had a lifetime of fisheries involvement, beginning as a small child in the Bristol Bay setnet salmon fishery. Linda began working as a fisheries consultant for hook-and-line and pot gear harvesters in 1988 and has been actively engaged in fisheries policy issues since that time at the Board of Fisheries, North Pacific Council and Halibut Commission. In the past 35 years she has served on various state and federal committees, as well as a panelist and/or presenter for federal management workshops.
